Artist, husband and father, Thibaut Paruite aka SPOE started his journey as an artist with an academic program at ESADHAR Le Havre, France. Since then, he’s been experimenting with a wide range of tools to satisfy his creative desire. As a multi-faceted artist, SPOE loves exploring new dimensions. He is fueled by artistic expression and living a life without compromise.
As SPOE’s journey as an artist continues, paintings, photos, drawings and surfboards are created. Every piece of Spoe’s art is a step forward on his path. Raised fatherless, he is deeply influenced by the inventive craftsmanship of his Grandfathers.
SPOE shares his feelings and visions through portraits, paintings, collages, images with double meanings and multi-layered works. He is heavily inspired by his travels, both external and internal.
He has collaborated with international artists, been featured in many exhibitions and served as the art director for various media outlets and brands. SPOE runs is own creative studio and his creative fire is always burning.

Paintings.
SPOE’s paintings span themes of portraits, masks and abstraction. He often alters them by cutting, copying and pasting everyday elements and feelings as a way to go deeper.

Photography.
Photography has played an integral role in SPOE’s creative journey — he’s always got a camera in his hands. His photographic inspiration comes from everyday life and his output ranges from spontaneous shots to specific series, created by both film and digital cameras. SPOE sees photography as a way to focus on the details.

Design
Surfboard Building.
Every board shaped by SPOE is inspired by his never-ending relationship with the art of surfing. Just like every wave is unique, every board is treated like a piece of art. SPOE 100% handshapes all of his boards, maintaining a physical commitment from the shaping process to the act of surfing itself. His goal in shaping is to fuse the arts of board building and wave riding using harmonic lines.
